Let go and live a life

How hard to let go? sometimes when we thought it's impossible to erase the memories of the past, what we need to do is not to erase.

Indeed it is. By forgiving we can let go.By letting go we can cary on with our life. and by letting go we can live a life to the fullest , without regret and hesitation

The Suluk lunch

Yesterday was the 2nd day we're in Kota Kinabalu Sabah for my BIL wedding. We went to pasar besar kota Kinabalu and have the suluk lunch there ( upstairs)
The dish is made from 'ikan yu' or shark.some people call it serunding ikan yu.eventhough shark has a very 'fish' smell a lot of turmeric and other spices has eliminate the smell away.sorry for the not so good picture. it was taken using my samsung omnia hp as we dont want to take out the big camera coz my hubby dont want to be seem like tourist at his own place...:-) This is Gamai, a type of seaweed. It taste a lil bit salty and eaten with sour sambal belacan or lime juice.

And this is another type of seaweed. called birdnest seaweed. the suluks eat by mixing this seaweed with young mango or bambangan( a very sourish mango like fruit) I never get this one prounce right it is called kilau? kemilau? or kunilau or none of this.its basically raw fish of any type , in this case mackerel, soak for while in the hot boling water and mix it with mango , onion , lime juice and salt to taste. yes, it has a very strong fish smell.

hari kuih raya

tahun ni kerana bibik telah lari dan aku ada biskut besar yg kena diuli selalu huhuhu...sekang ada atas ribaku dan aku tengah menaip sebelah tangan ni... so aku tak rancang nak buat kuih pun tapi back on popular demand oleh adikku aku kena buat juga 2 biskut ni. jadi aku istiharkan hari ni hari kuih raya... tapi dah azan zohor ni...tak start apa pun laie....
Biskut Dam

Bahan-Bahan:
1 cawan marjerin
4 sudu besar susu pekat
1 cawan gula halus
3 mangkuk tepung gandum 2 sudu teh esen ros
1 sudu teh baking powder
2 biji telur ayam
Sedikit serbuk koko
Cara:
Kacau marjerin dengan gula. Masukkan telur. Masukkan esen ros, susu, baking powder dan kacau perlahan-lahan. Masukkan tepung dan gaulkan rata. Kemudian dibahagi dua, sebahagian diletakkan warna koko dan satu lagi warna kosong. Semasa dilapiskan, adunan itu sapukan sedikit putih telur. Kemudian barulah dipotong. Bakarlah sampai masak.


Tart nenas

Bahan-Bahan:
250gm Butter SCS
2 sudu besar susu pekat manis F&N
1 sudu besar minyak sapi ghee
sedikit garam halus
2 biji kuning telur
1 biji putih telur
sedikit vanillin
500gm tepung gandum (atau kurangkan sedikit untuk kelembutan)
sedikit baking powder
4 biji nenas muda
2 ½ senduk gula pasir
sedikit vanilla
sejuring limau nipis
daun pandan
Cara:
Pukul bersama butter, susu, minyak sapi, garam hingga sebati. Masukan telur dan vanillin pukul lagi akhir sekali masukkan tepung yang telah diayak bersama baking powder. Gaul hingga sebati dan lembut.
Jem Nenas:
Parut nenas dan jangan dibuang airnya. Masak bersama daun pandan hingga kering sambil dikacau supaya tidak hangus. Setelah kering masukan gula, vanilla dan limau nipis. Kacau tanpa henti hingga likat.

The Bibik Manual

Hari Biasa
Awal Pagi
1. Bangun pukul 5 pagi.
2. masukkan kain dalam mesin basuh dan cuci
3. Sapu sampah, lap kabinet dan mop lantai dapur.Bersihkan bilik air bawah jika perlu.
4. Sapu sampah , mop lantai ruang tamu, lap kabinet TV. betulkan sofa. Lap coffee table.kemaskan rak buku.
5. Mandi dan sembahyang subuh. Jangan nak ponteng sembahyang nanti Allah murka tak selamat hidup dunia akhirat.
6. Siram pokok bunga
7. Jemur kain. Pastikan ampaian kat tempat teduh, nanti kalau hujan basah pulak
8. Sediakan Breakfast untuk anak-anak.
9. Ikut Anak-anak ke Nursery
Petang dan malam ( balik dari nursery)
1. Angkat kain dari ampaian. masukkan dalam bakul
2. Buka beg anak-anak, ambil pakaian kotor masukkan dalam bakul dan letak dekat dengan mesin basuh. Jangan basuh lagi . Tunggu pagi esok baru basuh.
3. Bawa naik beg anak-anak ke bilik.
4. Pegang baby sebab ibu mahu masak.
5. Lepas ibu masak,mandi, sembahyang maghrib. jangan ponteng solat.
6. Lepas semua makan malam, makan, lepas tu jangan lupa cuci pinggan.kemaskan dapur.
7. Sembahyang Isyak.
9. lipat baju dan gosok baju.
10. Bawa baju naik atas.Letak dalam almari anak-anak. letak baju ibu dan bapak kat penyidai depan bilik.
11. Kemas baju anak-anak untuk bawa ke nursery esok.
12. tidur.
Hari minggu.
Pagi
1. basuh baju, jemur baju dan siram pokok bunga.Sapu Halaman.
2. kalau ibu mahu masak atau keluar breakfast jaga baby.
3. lepas semua sudah turun ke bawah.Basuh bilik air anak-anak dan bilik air ibu.
4. sapu sampah,mop lantai bilik anak-anak. tukar cadar, lap tingkap dan lap barang2 dalam bilik.
5. sapu sampah, mop lantai, buang sampah dari tong sampah, tukar cadar, lap cabinet TV , lap tingkap
6. Bersihkan peti sejuk dan kemaskan dapur.
petang.
Rehat.
Ingat:
1. Jangan tinggal solat. Ingat Allah yang memberi rezeki untuk kita.
2. Ketuk bilik sebelum masuk bilik ibu.
3. jangan cakap kuat-kuat , jangan jerit-jerit walaupun pada anak-anak. kalau mahu tegur anak-anak cakap elok-elok
4. jangan suka membebel. Ingat awak datang untuk kerja. kerjalah dengan ikhlas.
5. Jangan ambil atau guna barang tanpa kebenaran. Tanya ibu dulu.
6. Jangan buang barang tanpa kebenaran
7. Bersihkan bilik sendiri. jangan biar bilik sendiri kotor.
8. Kalau perlukan apa-apa atau mahu beli apa-apa bagitahu ibu.

junctions of life

"at a position like you, you need to prepare yourself to do things that sometimes you dont want to do.." said my boss to me one day. Just now i did that, i just talk to my subordinate about moving him to one area that many people dun want to go and move him from a very comfortable place, working in normal working hours to shift.I feel bad about that but i really have no choice. I am glad that i never have to fire anybody yet so far. But i know sooner or later the moment will come and i've to do it.hmm..life... sometimes throwing us to junctions ..and we need to choose no matter how reluctant we are...
